270 Specialists trained to optimize energy use in Yerevan institutions
Approximately 270 representatives from Yerevan Municipality institutions participated in the Energy Management Information System (EMIS) pieces of training held from December 9-13.
They were introduced to methods for recording monthly gas, electricity, and water consumption data and analyzing usage patterns to enhance energy efficiency.
The sessions offered practical, hands-on learning, led by trainers Vahagn Atayan and Gor Arabyan. Participants gained personalized access to EMIS, explored its functionalities, and practiced using the platform to monitor and manage energy consumption effectively. These new skills will enable them to help their institutions conserve resources and adopt more sustainable practices.
This series of trainings was organized as part of the UNDP-GCF project in collaboration with the Yerevan Municipality, with support from the Environmental Project Implementation Unit of the Ministry of Environment.
