UNDP-GCF end-of-year Project Board meeting was convened to review progress and plan the next steps
With the project set to conclude in mid-2026, the need for more frequent strategic meetings has become evident.
The significant progress since the October meeting underscores the value of this collaborative approach.
Deputy Minister of Environment Aram Meymaryan emphasized the project’s crucial role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions from buildings, aligning with Armenia’s national and international commitments. “This project is vital for energy efficiency, energy independence, and the preservation of Armenia’s building stock,” he stated.
Natia Natsvlishvili, UNDP Resident Representative in Armenia, highlighted the unique nature of the project, emphasizing that its success is largely due to the dedicated efforts of national partners, supported by the team. She highlighted the importance of ongoing collaboration with the Project Board, ministries, and other stakeholders to ensure the project’s successful conclusion for the benefit of the people of Armenia.
